calendar & task have chinese problem

hi all, i am new to this forum. my big wish lays here.

my phone is xphone iim which does not officially support chinese language. after i did some tweaking, chinese inputting and displaying for sms is fairly ok. but i found the buildin calendar/task apps do have problems. they can display chinese "titles" correctly in event and task items, but not in the "description" or "notes" field. this is VERY annoying to me.

i summarize this weird thing as follows:

- if you enter chinese in the notes field in the phone, it will be screwed up after saving, and so is the entry in outlook.

- if you enter chinese in the notes field in outlook, it will be screwed up only in the phone after saving. but you can still read it in outlook.

- titles of event or task items don't have this problem.

- the sms/mms/email app in the phone don't have this problem.

anybody knows a solution or users using chinese can confirm this bug in calendar/task?
