Error when entering Date and Time, Registry fix

Ever seen an error message when trying to enter the Date and Time settings page?

The cause of this is due to a registry bug when setting the Short date style in

Settings\Segional Settings to use the decimal point for example 28.6.05

I have now been playing with an original SPV, E100, E200, C500 and an MPX200

and have now found the solution.

You need to use a registry editor and go to the following location, HKLM\nls\overrides\SDate The entry here will show "/" and this needs to be changed to "." (without the exclamation marks)

All Smartphones have this bug but it is only experienced when using certain locales in the Regional Settings, for example those using German as their location will not encounter this bug but anyone using English will.
