Mapopolis will not work with Cingular 8125

I recently purchased a Cingular 8125 (aka HTC wizard) and am trying to get this to work with a Pharos BT GPS and Mapopolis. I am having several problems with it. I downloaded the newest version (4.65) and installed it. The installation went fine, and the phone recognizes and pairs with the BT GPS correctly, but I cannot get the menus to display. The application starts, scans and finds the maps I have loaded, but the menu options being displayed at the bottom of the screen are not the ones for use with Mapopolis. (I think they are the ones for the phone itself - they show "contacts" and "Menu" for the buttons instead of the buttons to be used with Mapopolis.) Has anyone gotten this to work with the Cingular 8125 and Pharos BT GPS?

I also tried the previous version (4.64). The menus displayed correctly with this version, but I could not get it to start the GPS and display the location. It just stays in the screen displaying the NOT RUNNING status after I start the GPS.

Hi Ddcanan I also have had problems with 4.65 and switched back to 4.64 but I am running the SmartPhone version not the PPC version.

All I can suggest is you post your question on the Mapopolis PPC forum
