Guest markymarky Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 (edited) I recently bought a Qtek 8310 to replace my Palm PDA and Nokia phone and I run into the following. With a previous phone I owned years ago (I think it must have been a Panasonic which I don't have anymore) I was able to enter my own phone numbers on the SIM-card and I entered my old home phone number and my second mobile number and they are now stored on my SIM card. As the different Nokias I used in the the past 5 years didn't use this I even forgot I entered these numbers. The Qtek however does use it and every SMS I recieve is displayed as being sent to my old home phone number which the Qtek reads from the SIM. Also every SMS I send is displayed as being sent from my old home phone number. In settings>owner information I entered my current mobile number but that didn't do it. My old home phone number is shown in settings>phone>call options. I can see it there but I cannot change it. How do I get rid of these old numbers? Any ideas? /Mark Edited February 16, 2006 by markymarky
