Guest Shaunfarris Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 Hi all. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to keep GPRS and or applications running when the screen is off. I use SEVEN Mail for pushing email to my M2000, but when the power save cuts in everything except SMS and phone stop working until I press the power button again. I'm wang the phone to keep gprs alive so seven mail can continue pushing cheers Shaun
Guest fraser Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 You could do this with several screen lock utils that many folk use when listing to music. However, the battery will drain _very_ quickly. Basically, the "computer" part of the phone is off when it's in standby. It wakes up on an incomming call/message, a button press, or a scheduled wakeup from an application. These lock utils keep it on, but turn off the screen to a) save battery and :) stop unwanted clicks.
