What about AS Remote Display in Windows Mobile Developer Power Toys - free download from MSDN.

I'm pretty sure that there is a fix for WM05 devices which was posted on here somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.

This strange, I checked with friend of mine who has C600 and it's working fine and I did not have any trouble either. Only time, it won't work if you have XBar installed because * key in xbar is used for macro to exit XBar. I am sure you are launching Smart SS first and then go to another screen/program for screen shot without exiting Smart SS? Sorry, could not help much.

Does anybody got it run with a WM5 like HTC Tornado? Unfortunataly I always get this error message:

The OS or CPU of this device is unknown to this application

i use cool capture from the guys who brought you cool camera not only does it do stills it can also do video perfect for tutorials or highlighting problems as they occur (not free though)
