Guest earmonster Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 (edited) I presently have an M2000 on an orange contract which is due to expire in a few weeks. orange have offered me an M5000 handset for £100, but I really wanted to downsize to the HTC Wizard (o2 XDA mini S) rather than get an even larger device and as we all know Orange UK don't do the "M3000". My question is... Do I swap contracts from orange having been with them for several years to get a lower spec (but smaller) handset? And if so, do I go to o2 or T-Mobile. Also, I have used orange care several times, and love the fact that they immediately replace a faulty handset. I've heard that with other providers the handset has to be sent off for repairs, leaving you without a PDA/Phone!! Is this true? AAARRRGGGHHH, too many choices!! Guest earmonster Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 OK. Just found out that Orange are planning to release the M600, which seems to do all that the mini S/vario does and also looks damn sexy. What is the main difference between the two phones (other than a keyboard on the vario)? Is it worth hanging onto orange for this phone to be released, rather than swapping to another network for the Vario? Any ideas when the M600 will be released? This gets more confusing by the minute!!
