Problem with C500

[Guest bullitt]

Ok here's the problem:

I was just listening to some music on my C500, then took out the headset.

But know, the phone won't switch back to Normal (profile), and it's stuck on headset. I can't make any phonecalls like this. :cry:

It happend to me before, and I send my phone over the orange, but I don't want to loose my phone again for 2/3 weeks. :)

Anyone had this before and found a solution to this?

Unroll a paperclip.

Wiggle it about gently in the socket - may take several goes.

Worked for me :)

well, it took me a few goes but it isn't stuck on headset anymore!! thank you! :D

a paper clip may damage the phone. just blow in the socket or use a cue tip to clean out any dirt.

I couldn't seem to blow hard enough to reset the switch - not surprising given my smoking history :roll:

Also, when you say "cue tip"...........

...or did you mean ?.....................
