iMate SP5m Music Dock with C550

Hello,

I've bought an iMate SP5m Music Dock from brando.com.hk and have a query.

Is it just mine or does anyone else have charging problems with an SPV? (eg C550)

Power runs to the speakers and the unit works brilliantly but the SPV doesn't charge. Just wondering if anyone else has got one & has the same problem or if i should get a new one?

Ps, This bit of kit is brilliant and a bargain at £20

I do not have this dock, but just a thought.. are you sure you're plugging the usb cable into the PC? Because although the dock has its own power adapter, it needs an usb powered source to charge your phone (pretty lame if you ask me).

Maybe thats it...

The USB plugs directly to to a mains adapter which runs to the speakers. Haven't tried plugging the USB into a PC instead, i'll give it a try mate
