I'm having some stupid little issues with my phone and was wondering if anyone else was experiencing them...

1. The camera is EXTREMELY slow (ie: take a picture and what shows up frozen on the display is what should be captured but whatever happens 1/2 second later is what is actually written, plus pictures can be VERY blown out and overbright) I'm not talking about motion blur, just a huge delay between what I inteded to capture and what was eventually written. The only thing I can think is that it's slower writing to my mini-SD card (Ritek (?) 512mb)

2. Why does the text input take FOREVER to change? Cycling through multi-tap, T9 and symbol entry takes so much longer than my SMT-5600 did.

3. My LCD timeout has randomly gone to "never" about two or three times so far.

4. Today the phone flipped over to Flight Mode when it was locked in my pocket.

5. Some screens require more than one tap of the End key to get back.

It seems like a software patch would fix all of this but the only one out is the one that is currently on my phone.

Otherwise the phone is an improvement in every way over my smt-5600! It's faster, doesn't get out of memory errors after running a few apps, the QVGA is fantastic... if the camera wasn't crap, I would like its upgraded resolution.

Nobody has any other weird phone mannerisms to add?

I changed the picture storage back to the internal memory and it's just as slow. It seems as though there is a 1/2 second delay between what is captured on screen to what is written to the memory. The only thing the camera is good for is inanimate objects.

I haven't had to reset any of the power management timeouts since two days ago and it hasn't put itself into flight mode either.

It seems as though if the phone is locked and left alone for a while, I need to click "end" twice.. Ie: Unlock the phone, press Home and the first End won't get to the main screen, I need to click it twice. I can click End and still navigate the screen I was in and then press End to get back. It's not a big deal but my 5600 never did anything like that. I just literally unlocked it, verified it was working OK, locked it, set it down on my desk for about 10 minutes and I had to double-click End to get out of the menu.

TomTom 5 gets past the "I agree" menu but not past map selection without locking up, I would imagine there is a patch for that though.

(EDIT: Fixed TTM by doing this: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=233897)

Double-edit: TTM was the culprit changing the screen timeout to "Never" and not switching back.
