Start Menu List View Revert

When I go into the start menu and select a subfolder and do whatever i do and then the next time I select the start menu it is back to the 3X3 big icons. What should I do?

I also have a question that hasnt been answered yet. It is concerning when I select contacts under start menu nothing happens. No errors but also no opening.

I downloaded gridlock and put it on my phone. To no avail it is still keeping the main list under the start menu with large icons until I soft restart. Under the folder that it creates it will toggle between grid and list view so I thought I would copy the .lnk into the main list of start menu but this still did not help. I would like to be able to catagorize all my programs into folders but I want to keep list view.

Also i did not see anything in the link that you posted about the Contacts for a 2125 or a C600 assuming they are the same so hopefully somebody else can look at their key values for that as well.
