Hmmm. Was told by upgrades last night that my free C550 upgrade (it's a low spend account and I didn't want to pay for the C600) wouldn't be the music package with the 512meg mini-sd as that was discontinued. That I would get a regular C550 package with 128meg mini-sd.

Anyway, I'll either have a pleasant surprise when it arrives or I won't. Doesn't bother me as intend putting my 1gig mini-sd in anyway...

Twas in the region of £79. I got the impression (unsurprisingly as my Orange average monthly spending is just £20 a month) that I'm on the lowest band and they wouldn't budge on the price, even after I asked for my pac code.

So I thought I might as well just take the C550 as it won't be my main device anyway and I've already got a friend waiting to take over my C500...

BTW Fluffcat1, the battery for the MPX200 worked great. Nice little device. Thanks again dude :)

I'd give you a c550 and the £79 for a c600 - then i can rip it to bits and prove there is no wifi on the board :D

Did you think of trying to get a v1240 churing to voda?

Can't believe you're ditching your one-of-a-kind c500 :-(
