Guest Starburn Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 Just a quick, 'noob' question, how long should I charge my C600 for (on the initial charge)? :) It arrived today to replace my C500... :D Charged for about 2hours, then the LED went green; though on an initial charge I know this isn't actually an indication.. afaik it's about 16hours - but I wanted to check. Trouble is I'll be leaving work at about 6ish, meaning I'll have to unplug it after only 7hours to take it home... :s Cheers for any advice.

I would recommend at least 16 hours in total. I had a similar situation when I got my C600 - I managed 2 hours charge at work, left for home (about 1 hour away) and then continued the charge for the rest of the night and through to the morning whilst I slept. That worked fine!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 New phones that have only been on the shelf as such for a short time will have a fairly full battery. I like to say leave it in for about four hours (bit late now for this post :) ) A good condiyion charge for 12 hrs once in a while is good for the battery but just remember not to let the charge get too low li-ion prefer to be topped up.
