Running software as processes

Hi

I own a MPx220 and have been using it for some while pretty mucuh without 3rd party software. Now that I've started to use 3rd party software, but I have a problem. The problem is that I have some software I would like to keep running all the time in the background, but I dont know how. When I run the application it runs, then I push the home butten and am taken back to the home screen. Using xBar I can see that the application is still running, but after a while (of not doing anything) the applications closes. It may close after a short time or it may close after a long time, I havent seen any system as to why it closes after a short time and other times after a long time. I have tried to master reset my phone and install only this application, but it still has the same problem. The thing I noticed is that if a software is started as a process instead of as an application, it doesnt close down. Since I dont have access to the software's source code so I cant actually change the software itself. So is there a way I can run this application I am talking about here as a process instead of as an application?

I have now for the last few days tried to make this happen. I am almost giving up, but I cant because really want to run this application. Now nobody has replied to my thread, but I really hope someone will, even if just to tell me that it isnt possible. That way atleast I can give up on the issue. I really hope thats not the case and really belive that it should be possible to run an application as a process, with a spesial loader or something. I mean I thought windows mobile gave almost unlimited possibilites on a phone. Anyway before I go crazy I hope someone here has an opinion or thought of how I can solv my problem. Thanks :)

The software I am trying to run is FilterOne, which for some reason just wont stay on. Do you have any ideas? I would be very grateful ;)
