Imate SP5 is changing WiFi settings while OFF

Hello, I have an imate sp5 and it’s a great device.

I have a prb with it regarding WiFi settings. I go under WiFi settings and I enter my SSID, I uncheck the function saying the passkey will be sent automatically to the phone, and then I enter my passkey.

The phone connects to my WiFi network. I turn OFF the phone for few mns or for the night then turn ON the phone. When I tried to connect to my WiFi network it’s impossible. I go to WiFi settings to check everything and I see that the function saying the passkey is sent automatically to the phone is now checked !!!

I unchecked it click ok, ok and then I have the error message please enter the correct passkey. To get the phone to reconnect to my WiFi network I need to enter again my passkey. It’s very annoying when it’s a 20 digits key and when you can't cut and paste !!!

Somehow when the phone is off and then turn on this behavior happen.

I did a hard reset but I have again and again the same problem. I checked with a friend who has a SP5, same problem as well. My cousin is using the QTEK 8310 and he has the same problem…

Do you know if there is a fix or any .CAB to fix this problem ?
