Guest bonghernz Posted February 22, 2006 Report Posted February 22, 2006 (edited) i think its Appforge Booster 4.0 on the start up that causes the problem.. Edited February 22, 2006 by bonghernz

Guest Pondrew Posted February 22, 2006 Report Posted February 22, 2006 well, if you're getting a country id error it'll be because you're installing a foreign providers rom. assuming it's a UK XDA IIs get the latest rom from xda IIs software update site Alternatively a hard reset will restore your device to it's out of the box state. To do one press the standby/on button while pressing the stylus into the recessed reset button.
Guest bonghernz Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 i have done a series of hardreset. but still got the same problem... i think i have downloaded the correct rom.. its an O2 rom.
Guest Pondrew Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 Which country is your XDA IIs from? If it's a UK unit using the UK XDA IIs rom available from the link posted above shouldn't give you the Country ID code. If it's a foreign unit you'll need to get an O2 rom from O2 in that country. Alternatively unlock the device to any rom using the unlock tool from xda developers.com or by paying www.imei-check.com There is also a tool that bypasses the country id code which is also available from xda developers.com.
