SPV C550 receiving MMS on Vodafone pay as you go

Hi guys, Ive unlocked my 550 and have it on vodafone, when receiving picture messages I used to be able to got through them vodafone live studio service to see pictures sent to my phone, recently however I have been receiving pics as MMS which I cant recieve. I get the unable to connect message, verify network coverage. Is it the case that I need to contact vodafone to enable MMS or can I sort it out myself many thanks in advance.

can someone please help im being text pics (which im sure owuld interest some on the forum and id be happy to share ;) but i cant access them ;)

Right, there are two sides to this. One is setup on the device (you have to setup your C550 with the MMS and GPRS settings for Vodafone). The other is setup on the network (call Vodafone and asked them to confirm your account is activated for MMS and GPRS).

There's a Smartphone Settings Repository section in the forum list here at Modaco. Use it to get the settings for Vodafone.

Then call Vodafone and tell them you want to use your account to send and receive MMS. They'll tell you if it's already set up or, if not, do the necessary.
