Will these movies work with my new smartphone?

I have several movies (including Star Wars) I have encoded using the program "DVD to PocketPC". They are in the WMA format. I can't try them on my new Tmobile SDA because I don't have a miniSD card yet. These movies play great on my Dell Axim X30. Can anyone tell me if they will play well on the SDA? Thanks

You would need the Smarphone version of your chosen media player of course but the answer is yes. I assume you meant to say 'wmv' format - video rather than audio.

The only possible problem would be with screen resolution but I don't know the Axim's size so can't comment.

it will work if:

you have the video codecs installed

that is all you need as well as a movie player:)

OOOps, sorry, I meant WMV format. So if I transfer these to a miniSD card, should they play using windows media 10 player?
