Guest juliodezan Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 Is there a way to use my MPx220 as a webcam for my computer. I heard about it but I don't know if it's true. If anyone know if it is possible, please post here the stpe by step. Tks
Guest argh Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 I haven't tried it on an MPx220, but I assume it would work just the same way as the C500. You use an application that lets you see your phones display on the computer, then a webcam driver that lets you use part of your computer display as a webcam. You can view the display of your phone with SOTI Pocket Controller (commercial) or the Microsoft Active Sync Remote Display (free). You can make part of your screen in to a webcam with Camtasia (commercial) or SoftCam (commercial). It certainly isn't the most efficient, fastest or best webcam ever, but it works. Hope that helps.
Guest mini_man Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 there is a guide which i hunted down for you but the link does not work unfortunatley. I gave up with the method mentioned as the whole process is very slow and needs a direct method instead.
