today my lcd screen was cracked and it is totally destroyed. i have found some lcd screens online but i was wondering if anyone has attempted to put in their own lcd screen. is it difficult to install the lcd sceen? will there be a lot of work or will i just remove my old one and install the new one? any help will be greatly appreciated.

Depends - there are 2 varients to the typhoon screen - find out which part number is yours, buy the same one, and it'll just plug straight in. The ribbon connections are *slightly* different for the two types.
