HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP MPx200!

Hi plz help me,

i have an mpx200 running wm5. i have bee running it for about 2 months with no problems.

i was just lookin for a new homescreen on this website i found a couple i liked so i followed the instuctions (put the files in \application data\ home ect.) i went to put the homescreen on and i click on settings then homescreen and it came up with the error "The settings could not be opened." so i tried clicking on the sounds settings and it came up with the same error.

i did a soft reset and tried again, same problem. i removed all the files that i had put on and did another soft reset. same problem.

i then tried reseting the registry keys, but no joy.

could any of you very nice people help me because i love my phone and i have lots of stuff i need on it so i would prefer it if i didnt have to do a hard reset or even reinstall the rom.

pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help

Perhaps contact microsoft and see if they'll support wm2005 on an mpx200 ;-)

Seriously, it's unlikely you'll find much help for this issue as it's unlikely many people here have experienced it, by all accounts most people who tried wm2005 on a '200 have gone back to 2002 or 2003, and there is no official resource out there, but there are many other sites you can find using google :D

I'd back up the critical stuff and re-install if you can?
