Guest Islanti Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 My new T-Mobile SDA has the Oz IM client with ICQ, AIM, and Yahoo! IM. This software has the cool feature of using SMS messages to update status information, thereby saving battery life vs. a data connection. This is great if you have an unlimited SMS plan (as I do). PocketMSN appears to have the same feature for MSN Messenger Mobile. Click softkey 2 "Options" in the Pocket MSN application and select the "SMS" option to see for yourself. Whenever I try the webpage listed, I get the message that SMS isn't supported with my carrier (T-Mobile). I don't understand how this can be the case, since I have SMS for the other services and Exchange. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any additional information about this feature available. Does anyone use it? Has anyone verified the SMS functionality is working / not working (regardless of what the web page states)?
