Guest rgaskell Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 I had the same problem getting the missus SDA to connect using her genie card, the settings in the repository seem to work - for the most part MMS seems to be working anyway, haven't really messed with Messenger or Internet Explorer In Settings -> Data connections Create proxy Description: O2 WAP proxy Connects from: The Internet Connects to: WAP Network Proxy name: 193.113.200.195 Type: WAP (can also use proxy 193.113.200.195:8080, Type=HTTP) Create GPRS connection Description: O2 WAP Connects to: The Internet Access Point: wap.o2.co.uk Username: geniewap Password: password Create Dial Up connection Description: O2 CSD Connects to: The Internet Phone number: 07712927927 Username: geniewap Password: password Create MMS GPRS Settings Description : O2 MMS Connects to : O2 Wap Access point: wap.o2.co.uk Username: geniewap Password: password MMSC settings Programs -> Accessories?! -> MMS setup Connects Via: The Internet IP (Gateway): 193.113.200.195 Port: 9201 Mmsc Address: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002 In Settings -> Data connections make: Internet connection = O2 CSD (Try it first but I think I’d try O2 Wap tbh) WAP connection = O2 WAP or O2 CSD (uses WSP for WML pages) In Internet explorer, tick 'Automatically detect settings'. Hope this helps -- rg
