I may be the wrong person to answer this but....emulators are software applications that let you play games written for 'proper' game machines - so your phone effectively gets the same....ummmm...operating system as yer Nintendo, Playstation etc

You can then use the backup file you made from the original game CD and get it to run on the phone. It's not as simple as installing normal Smartphone games but very impressive when you show it to your mates :)
