Qtek 7070 Firmware pls help :(

Hi guys, I got a wierd problem... my qtek 7070 is always on CAR profile when nothing is connected to it. If i connect my charger or hands free then it will have headset profile. I can never get the NORMAL profile when nothing is connected. If it stays on CAR then I cant hear or speak when making calls. I need to always have my headset to hear or speak on the phone :)

It is quite annoying to carry the phone along with the headset. When I tried to change the profile, it doesnt seem to take the changes in!!!

im not sure if this is hardware/software issue. I'd like to flast my phone to qtek rom... currently I'm running i-mate rom

u guys know any links for the updated qtek rom? also i want the t9 of the rom to be in english. TIA

For the Qtek ROM you need to join the Qtek site by registering your IMEI.

This will give you access to the members only section where you then get the ROM you need.

As for being stuck in Car profile check the connector on the phone as you may have something shrting out some of the treminals.

the charger slot was bit bend... i straigtened it up and it works like a charm :D

u saved me from buying a new phone :)
