Guest VITOkonstantin Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 VITO AudioNotes to keep your notes handy Easy way to record your notes, lectures, etc. on PPC or Smartphone February 27, 2006 – VITO Technology releases VITO AudioNotes, the first MP3 recorder for Smartphones that also works on PPC. VITO AudioNotes takes the essence of recording and presents it in a most convenient way. It is specially designed to take your notes on the go with minimum keystrokes. VITO AudioNotes is a Pocket PC and Smartphone recorder that supports major world-wide spread formats: WAV and MP3. With this recorder you don’t need to go into details and stumble over dozens of recording formats they usually offer. You simply choose MP3 or WAV and quality – low, middle or high. User-friendly interface with built-in control panels offers additional recording features: microphone auto gain and VAS (voice activated system) options. Microphone auto gain can increase your mike sensitivity while VAS makes recording gapless. The same control panels in playback mode allow you to play back or forward your records and change volume. Infobar offers all the necessary details for every record: the date and time of creation as well as its size. You can also see the size a file growing at infobar while it is being recorded. VITO AudioNotes is good not only at recording your notes, lectures or private talks. It can also record phone calls on Windows Mobile 5.0 devices. It is recommended to start recording phone calls after you’ve pressed the answer button. Now your friends will never say again: “I didn’t say it!” They can only go with “I didn’t mean it!” PPC users with Windows Mobile 5.0 powered devices are sure to appreciate stylusfree comfortable operation with joystick and the soft keys. Guest roma0803 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 Great software, runs superb on my Smartphone. Great addition even more due to the fact it can record conversations in both MP3 and WAV format. Thanks a lot!
Guest rasncain Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 This is great software, however support is very much lacking. I have been unable to register my software for a week now after purchasing it online. I have emailed, and submitted a request through their help desk system, one week and still not even the courtesy of a reply. As much as I think the software is great, I would not and could not recommend this company in good faith to someone due to the lack of support, it is simply unacceptable to have to wait this long and never even get a reply from anyone that they are looking into the problem. Buyer beware!

Guest Jacobus Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 The logic to use is better than John Cody Vnotes and more cheaper. Wish to have record just from 1-click button but not launch then start to reocrd.

Wish to have record just from 1-click button but not launch then start to reocrd. There was discussion about this point at pocketpcthoughts supported by Menneisyys, a real professional in anything concerned with multimedia. One guy also claimed he wants just press one button and that's it. Check out what he says in the end about VITO AudioNotes in his last post after he actually tried it: http://pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtop...294c7aeef944943 By the way, what he's wishing in the end has already been in our plans.

The fact mine will not register now with the key I have been given. I have tried doing it through activesyn with the phone hooked to the computer, I have tried doing it through wireless and I have tried the manual process of emailing the text file to the support who I have never heard back from. Internet access works on my phone either way I try it, however I am constantly getting an error. I tried signing up on the site using the email address that my purchase was made and that my reciept came to but the site does not recognize it. All of this trouble and still I have not yet heard from support. I have ticket open in their support center software on the site and no response yet for 4 days now. Not one good experience yet other then the fact that the software is great.
