Activesync hanging messaging application

I have had a few hangs on my Vario recently and today tracked it down.

When I have messaging (sms/email etc) in the background and I complete a syncronize and remove the cable from the phone I am unable to bing the messaging app back to the foreground. what then happens is the Vario goes into snail mode :?:

A v.slow switch to running tasks and selecting the messaging app informs me the task is hung/not responding when selected for termination .. but once cancelled the device springs back into life.

I did I quick search on the booards and found no obvious hits .. anyone else seen this problem and/or got a work around. I suppose the bvious one is cancel the messaging app during syncs .. not ideal.

Ok I did more research and this is the "hang slowdown after sync problem" :)

I've got exactly the same problem. Have you managed to find any more on this? I tried searching for "hang slowdown after sync problem" and some variations on that but didn't find anything.

Had to figure it out myself using trial and error and a lot of reading on the internet but it's worked perfectly fon my O2 XDA Mini S
