Why are my homescreens too small

Just downloaded some more Homescreens from here and there is always a gap at the bottom of the screen, just above start and contacts.

Basically the info like (time, profile, date, mms: etc dont line up with the images behind them and look stupid

Tried it with loads and they are all the same.....

What am I missing ??
