i930 & ActiveSync/ServerSync Woes

K, first tried configuring pocket outlook to sync to an exchange server from the phone. When setting options to sync under activesync -> options -> server settings -> (inbox, contacts, or calendar), I click done multiple times, then go back in and my settings aren't saved.

While trying to configure the same thing through ActiveSync on the PC, when I go to make any changes to the server connection settings, it gives only this generic message:

Changes to synchronization settings with Server Activesync could not be made at this time. I can't find any more detailed info anywhere. The wierd thing is I've 6 more of these phones that have no problem using server sync..

Anyone encountered this error before?

I've not seen exactly that, but I did write a small app for Smartphone 2003 that resets all the ActiveSync settings to default (as in new phone). It's certainly fixed weird ActiveSync things in the past.
