Guest lyserg Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 Hello. I tried searching for what I was looking for and after going through ten pages with results I decided to just ask... I will try to explain my question as good as I can, but I'm not even sure how to explain it. When writing SMS using the standard editor in WM2005 on my Qtek 8310 I sometimes hit the "+" button or just simply the space key by accident. And when using the T9 the drop-down menu with options no longer works. The words are just "cut-off" so to speak... how do I re-enable (or re-mark the word) the matching with the T9-database being able to see the options-menu without having to erase the whole word to start re-writing it? Do you guys understand how I mean? :)
Guest TigerNet Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 ...unfortunately, I don't think you can. It is possible on Symbian phones to 're-activate' a word in T9, but not on Windows Mobile... ...I could be wrong of course!!! Cheers Nick
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 Unless it's been fixed in WM5 (unlikely) it's one of theose things that has been asked for quite a few times in the past.
Guest lyserg Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 Is there some other software to use when writing SMS' that has this feature I asked about? To be able to "re-activate" a word... as mentioned above ;) ?
Guest Killian Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 I've never really had that problem myself, I usually just delete the word and start over, it doesn't really take much time. Unless you hit those keys on mistake alot...................... then I can see where your coming from.
