Guest mark4130 Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 Right, Im a noob to PPC's, have only used smartphones before... now I have a lovely SPV M1500. When I press the on / off button, am I meant to be fully turning the unit off or am I meant to be putting it into a "standby" mode? I ask because it appears to be turned off but my little green LED flashes....
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 Most PPC devices will only go into hibernation as such and will not actually power off.

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 As far as I know the Wizard is the only PPC Phone that can be turned off.
Guest Pondrew Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 ,Mar 1 2006, 23:08]As far as I know the Wizard is the only PPC Phone that can be turned off. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Come on Awarner, you remember be telling you bout powering off the MDA Compact II (HTC Charmer) just after you got your Wizard? :) As I say, the HTC Charmer definately can be powered off and I fully expect the HTC Prophet (i-mate Jamin, Orange SPV M600) to do so too. The only WM5 released HTC Pocket PC Phone that doesn't is the HTC Universal...
Guest mark4130 Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 Cheers for that, better make sure I have it in flight mode at bed time then - the wife really wouldnt appreciate drunken friends calling at 2am!!!
