Hello everyone. Today the sound went on my E-ten M600 for no apparent reason. I couldn't even hear the music, ringer or the other person on the phone. I got home and plugged in the headset and I could hear though it. I removed the headset, reset the phone and the sound came back. Does anyone know where this problem came from or what the problem is? Also, how can I get the firmware update to 0171

The sound problem COULD be to do with a dodgey connection in the head phone jack...it has been known...search around the forum, it usually brings up a solution...(its usually something to do with sticking a paperclip down the jack and fiddle with the connectors so they dont inadvertantly switch to headset...but dont qutoe me on that)

As for the rom.....no idead pal...sorry

The prblem with dodgy headphone sockets was with HTC devices not ETEN ones so is probably unrelated (but could be somethig similar). There seem to be very few Eten devices out there so I'm not sure.

For the Rom update you could try Eten's site http://www.etencorp.com/ or failing that (assuming you want the English version) http://rapidshare.de/files/11204851/EUU_M6...0_0171.EXE.html
