How to change font color on home screen?

Very simple; I have a background picture that I like, but the font should be big, bold, and white in order to be readable. I don't want any fancy program, but I would like to change the font semi easily. Is there an xml file or a registry key that will allow me to do this?

What homescreen are you using? Standard one that comes with the computer or one you have downloaded? Please specify and shouldnt be a problem helping. If you like I can make a homescreen out of the image you want to use

I'm using the Windows Default setup. I couldn't get colors to look right with the pic I wanted on the screen, so I reverted back to the defaults for everything. I played around with making my own xml, but I really couldn't figure out parts of it and get plugins placed where they ought to be.

All I want is to have my provider, the time, missed calls, and txt messages displayed on the screen (as well as the standard things on top).

It would be really could if you could make me one. All I can offer, though, is gratitude and credit.

I attached the desktop pic I took. I've had a picture like that on my last 2 phones.
