spv c550 windows media sync problem

:| ive had this problem from day one :cry:

i synch with media player or real player

it sync's, and then when u copy a song over, it does half and then says phone is not connected, and when u come out! u have to restart the phone, otherwise u cant do nothing with ur phone.

ah well at least i can laugh at this video :)

A known bug with the SPV C550 I'm afraid. My own C550 does it. I have to get round it by syncing to the mini-sd by putting it in my MDA Compact II in it's sd adapter and syncing songs to that. I appreciate few users will have two Windows Mobile devices and so may not be able to do the same. Alternatively you can drag and drop albums through Activesync/Explore

Personally I don't think it's acceptable for such a bug to exist in a modern Smartphone where Media Player syncing is one of the major selling points. Orange don't see it that way as they say they don't support syncing with Media Player :evil:

I understand not all C550s do it and this may be because there is a newer rom on some of them (but not my brand new upgrade one :)). Unfortunately the newer rom isn't even readily available either...

i asked somebody in orange c/s! they said its not an orange problem :x
