Guest jmfaber Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 Can anyone help me out? I have been using my SMT5600 with a Motorola bluetooth headset, and all was fine. A couple of weeks ago, when I use voice tags (either by tapping the button on my headset, or by the shortcut key on my phone), the phone does nor repeat my voice tag out loud. This means that if I tap the headset and say, for example, "call home" (the tag for calling, duh!, my house), instead of repeating out loud for me as verification (which is what it used to do), it just connects, and if I am driving I just have to wait to see who picks up to be sure that the voice tag went to the right command. There is nothing in the manual about how to enable or disable this playback feature, and searching through the menus has gotten me nowhere. Any suggestions? Yossi PS - The only read mod to my Cingular phone is using Facade ... if that counts as a mod.

Yossi PS - The only read mod to my Cingular phone is using Facade ... if that counts as a mod. I have been having this same problem. It wont even playback when i record it. When I hit the headset button and say the name it will call the number, but I have no clue if its the right number. I called cingular, went by the store, talked to several different levels of tech support. All told me it was a software issue and I needed to just get a new phone. But now it has been over a month since I replaced it. I need to find a new solution. I can't send my phone off for weeks. I need to fix it so it doesn't happen again. Anyone have any solutions. Is there an update or something I am missing? Can I reset the phone? Reinstall the software? Thanks Clazie
Guest blewer Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 Silly question but, the volume on the phone is turned up, right?
