Guest sanjiv_kumra Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 First time writing a post, apologies if its in the wrong forum.... I have a c600 (fantastic phone) but i am unable to sync my calendar with outlook 2000 (no problems with the c500). But if I connect to outlook offline I am able to sync my calendar (e-mails,contacts all sync OK offline/online). Any suggestions as I'm always late for meetings now..
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 Not quite sure what the problem is as you said you can not sync then you can when you are offline? Could you please explain what you mean by offline\online? Also are you running the latest version of Activesync 4.1? http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/dow...tivesync41.mspx
Guest sanjiv_kumra Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 running activesync 4.1 when starting outlook you have an option where you can connect to the exchange server directly (online) or not connect (offline - gives you the ability to reply to work with outlooks etc... and once you have finished you then connect online and all your messages get send). Hope that explains it a bit better.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 Ahh did not realise you were trying to sync with Exchange Server. Have a look at this guide as it may help incase there is a problem with your setup. http://www.modaco.com/How_I_got_my_MPx200_...ver-t94951.html
Guest welshgaz Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 I had a similiar problem with my Vario when I upgraded from the C500. 1) Make sure that the option of syncing calender is selected in both the AS options on your PC and the device. 2) Try deleting the partnership(s) within AS before trying new things - old settings sometimes get stuck in and changes dont seem to register unless its a new partnership. 3) Get the new AS version 4.1 from the MS site - the default version that comes on the CD is useless and apparantly full of bugs. Keep trying and fiddling - its all down to getting the settings right!! Welshgaz
