Bluetooth Activesync times out when inactive -

Hi all.

I'm looking for a little help.

I have a C600 which I sync through Activesync 4.1 (AS4.1) using bluetooth. I've had the phone for about amonth and Bluethooth syncing has been fine. I only sync appointments with my works laptop through a TDK USB bluetooth dongle.

Up until recently when I connect to AS4.1, my phone would stay connected until I manually disconnected it. I preferred it this way since. Now following some odd blue-screens unrelated to the bluetooth connection, my AS4.1 connections automatically disconnect after about 2-3 minutes of inactivity.

Is there a way that I can disable that automatic disconnection or at least extend it? It's not clear if it's my phone or the target laptop that is triggering the disconnect...

It's of no use or value to me unless it also switches off the bluetooth radio (which eats up battery) as well.
