Guest reydan Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 Hi, I just bought a Orange SPV C600, and i saved my old address book (from the old phone) into an excel file. Is there a program that can import my contacts to the phone's address book? I tried using Outlook 2003 and then use ActiveSync to synchronize the address book, but outlook can't load the excel file...don't know why. Thanks for any help... Reydan

Reydan <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You should be able to use the import function in Outlook 2003. Select "import from another file or program" and then then select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)." Should work.
Guest ChrisJM Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 depends what type of file you output them as... do you know what type of file it is?
Guest reydan Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 Well, i said it was an excel file.... But no problem, i converted it into CSV and tried then to import it into Outlook. But when i try to do this, outlook says it needs a translator to do this and it gives me an error when trying to install it. Never mind...i already started entering them manually ;)) (not so many) With this occassion i erased old phone number ;)
Guest ChrisJM Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 ok, well if you converted it to CSV correctly it should work without fail!
