Well, I've had the 2125 since about the end of January, and I'm on my sixth SIM card.

Tomorrow I'll be calling Cingular's warrenty branch and tell them of the problem ... all the Cingular phone help has done is send me a new SIM each time, or send me to a bick & mortar to get one myself.

The thing is - my friend had the exact same problem with his 2125, and to top it off, this current phone is my fourth, the others having been replaced for dead pixels, non-functioning joystick, and horribly scratched upon arrival. The down function no longer properly functions on this model either.

I love the phone and what it does - but i wonder if they'll upgrade me to an 8125 this time or somthing, as the 2125 seems to be having some pains.

Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with his phone as well.

Yeah, my brother just had to have his SIM replaced in his 2125 as well. Mine is still holding on, but I had a problem with it for a few hours not recognizing Cingular service...took it apart, pulled the sim out for five minutes, and amazingly it was fine again! Weird.

I experienced this problem with my 2125 on monday. Luckily I had a extra blank SIM in my wallet.
