Guest DsNRaY Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 just two days ago, i noticed when i was in my house and several other places, my gprs was way faster, not talking about 56k, or 70kbps, but streaming at 110-120 w.o any lag 8) . My sp5m only shows the GPRS "G" sign on the top, but i've heard people say if you're using edge, a "E" pops up. I'm quite confused, am I using EDGE or GPRS?

Not sure if this extends to all of their cell towers. The "E" symbol can be enabled - there is a registry setting that needs changing, details can be found elsewhere in this forum. My SDAM is showing the "E" symbol, and has not changed back to "G" yet!
