T-Mobile SDA Hard Reset

Hi can anyone tell me how to hard reset the T-Mobile SDA?

I've tried the technique suggested for Oranges SPV C500 but its doesnt work!

Is there another way? I cant get into my phone as it is stuck on T-Mobile welcome screen.

Is ther a way I can flush the rom? if so How ? update firmware how ?

ANY HELP would be appreciated.

Is your device a T-Mobile UK (or indeed Europe) SDA or is it the T-Mobile USA SDA?

Not that the hard reset procedure should be any different for either...

With the device turned off and NOT plugged into the mains nor with the mini-usb plugged in hold down both the left and right softkeys. Press the power button for 1.5 seconds. Don't let go of the left and right softkeys until a screen appears prompting you to press 0 to hard reset. Do so and it'll hard reset.
