Guest adzisfat Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 Hi, I have a really big problem with my SPV E100, what it is is that none of the keys work, and the only keys that do work are the power button and record button! Please can someone help me asap!! thanx
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 Try to do a Hard Reset, but it could be a hardware fault if none of the keypad buttons work. 1. Turn off the phone. 2. Hold the record button down while turning on the SPV. 3, when the phone starts to boot press and hold the Action button (joystick middle button) for 2 seconds as instructed. 4. Press 8 to select 'Erase IPSM data'. 5. When it has finished doing this (it takes a while), it will say PASSED. Press the left direction pad twice and choose 3 to close the diagostics. 6. On the three colour 'Canary PV' screen, hold the power button down. This will re-start the phone with the Orange Sunset screen

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 So the keypad connector was loose by the sounds of it. If it happens again may be worth taking the phone apart and reconnecting it properly.
