Black bar on every homescreen load

Im new to this board and a new owner of a T-Mobil SDA. Im having a problem everytime i load a homescreen that isnt one previously loaded onto the SDA a black bar shows up on the bottom of the homescreen right about the Start and Contact buttoms, and is the same width and height of the contact and start buttons. This happens no matter what homescreen i load. Does anyone have any ideas why it is doing this?
