Hi all,

Im going to get a MDA Pro on t-mobile sometime this month, i was just wondering what you get with it, i.e two batteries, a case etc.

I cant find anything about package contents on the t-mobile site, i always find network sites lacking on information about their devices.

Kenny.

You get with it a spare sylus, a pouch like case which is not very good, a screen protector, Headphones/hands free, sync cable (usb to mini usb), 512mb mini sd card and sd card adapter, Outlook 2002, a trial of GPRS data monitor.

No Spare battery

Can concur with that! (The mains charger connects via mini USB)

The case is a 'slip-in' type without a belt clip.

Is the GPRS data monitor on the CD (which I haven;t opened yet) or am I being really thick??

Yeah I'm pretty sure the data monitor is on the disk.

I got my MDA yesterday so am just getting it all set up the way I like it.

I remember someone saying that there is a way to speed it up if you do a hard reset and stop the installation of some t-moblie stuff?

If anyone can expand on that it would be appreciated cause I can't remember where I read it

yeah. i got a bit of advice about it here:

tmobile_settings

To do anything intelligent with it you have to work a bit harder and probably really really enjoy tinkering just for the hell of it. The extended ROM needs unlocking using a nifty little tool and a couple of REG Edits, and then you can customise exactly what gets installed when you start up fresh.

Id say the hassle/risk:benefit ratio aint too good though so unless you're doing it for interest / fun its probably not worth it.
