Guest southpac Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Hi, I've been researching this for days without any luck. I would really like to be able to record a voice note by holding down a hardware button and when released the voice recording to end. I would like this to work, irrespective of what app is currently running on the phone (that is, it will work even if the phone is not on the home screen). I currently have an SP3, but would happily buy another smartphone to get this functionality. Hope someone can help....

Guest conan_troutman Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 never seen applet thet does as your asking but for a full featured recorder go for John Codys Vnotes Pro as appossed to the lite version or vito voice notes.
Guest southpac Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 Yes, I'll probably order Vito AudioNotes, but I would have ideally liked to quickly create a voice note without having to leave the current app or having to press a whole lot of buttons. For example, listening to a podcast while driving the car and a website is mentioned that you find interesting. It would be great to be able to just hold the recorder button in, leave a voice note and then carry on listening to the podcast.
