Guest daro_ Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 When I'm going to compose a new SMS, I see the number 0/160 on the top line of the screen (I think it represents the available characters for the message), but when I'm writing, the limit changes from 160 to 70.. so: 1) Why is this happening? 2) When the number for example is "xxx/2 messages", does it cost the same as 2 separate messages? Thanx!
Guest Disco Stu Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 Don't ask me why but go into Text Messages, hit Menu, Options, Sending and tick (or even untick...trust me) the "Use Unicode.." option. This usually sorts out the character problem. The bad news is that, in your second scenario, you will get charged for 2 separate messages.
