Guest rasncain Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Ok, so I am a bit confused about the start menu on my 2125. On my SMT5600 I was able to pretty much add and remove anything I wanted and organize the start menu in any way I wanted. However on my 2125 I cannot seem to manipulate many of the .lnks because they are system files I assume. This seems like MS went back a step in time as opposed to forward. Is there anyway around this or no? There are so many links in the start menu I just dont use and it would be nice to remove them or organize them some what better. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Guest rasncain Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 the unlock does not help in regards to this, i just did it and I am still unable to remove certain .lnk files from the \windows\start menu There are alot of .lnk files and there for start menu items that I simply do not use and would like to remove the .lnk files or move them to another folder so that I can tidy it up a bit. Pity it does not seem you can do this on the 2125 but I could on the 5600
Guest rasncain Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 OK so I seem to have found out how to do this, I simply needed to arrange them or delete them using the explore function of activesync, rather then using the file manager on the phone itself. Go figure, but its working and I am happy. Thanks!
