Guest jasthegooner Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Hi there, I used to have a caller ID program for my C500, that gave a full screen picture of the person calling. Is there one out yet that works on C600? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Also in the contact edit area, you can customize ring tones too. You dont need a caller ID program anymore...
Guest Disco Stu Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 I don't believe there is a full-screen application for WM05 at all ;)
Guest Lobojpm Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006  Man, I hope this situ changes soon. One of my fave features is photo caller ID, and this phone has such a GREAT screen for it!!!
Guest jporch316 Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Do The .pit file work anymore You could add .pit files to your Phone (templates) and have all kind of weird animations going on as caller ID. - I know on the c600 that the caller ID app was Made by Orange and am presuming that the new caller ID in wm5 is by MS

The c600 IS a WM5.0 device - it doesn't have the third party caller id app. It uses the Inbuilt WM5.0 one alas. (Well your not ALL wrong - the new Caller ID app is 'in ROM' though whether MS wrote it, or contracted it back out to HTC is not clear). WM5.0 dont have any stand alone or configurable Caller ID tool. You can simply browse for a photo to use, in the contacts editor itself, or set one in Outlook on the PC and it will sync across. Use 72x86 - that way they will be that size in your coctacts list, half the size nearly, ot the correct proportions when a call comes in, and not look to wonky in the SMS list (where it now shows the picture too).
