Date format on Homescreen

Hi guys,

When i got my JAMin it would display the date on the today screen as a two line display - the day on the first line and the date on the second (see what im talking about HERE)

However after performing a hard reset i only have a single line display showing only the date. I have had a look in regional settings however none of the options seem to be editable.

Any help/ideas on how to get the date back to a two line display would be great
