backlight on the C600

How do you make the backlight on the C600 go out? I have tried a few things but none of them are working and the light is usually on all night :?: :?: :?:(my daughter wrote this after trying all the settings. What happens is is I turn off the background display then the backlight goes off when it should. If the background display is on never then the backlight remains on??? It never happened with any of my other spv's. Is this a fault?

Have you looked in power management in settings? has backlight time out, display time out, etc.

If you've looked that and fiddled around, i cant be more help, as I've only had my C600 a few months, and its my 1st smartphone! :-D

My backlight stays on when i have TomTom M5 running (for the obvious reason that the backlight needs to stay on so i can see the sat nav!) But then it doesnt reset the setting when exiting, but i think im asking a bit much there.
